What you'll do

As an Installation Technician, you will design, build, and wire telecom equipment cabinets and consoles as detailed within Engineering Work Packs. You will be based in our workshop in Aberdeen (Westhill). Your responsibilities include:

1. Constructing and wiring racks and consoles following technical drawings, ensuring design layout, simplicity, and rigidity.
2. Spotting discrepancies and raising issues with the Engineering team for resolution.
3. Performing QA duties to ensure consistent quality in rack builds.
4. Interconnecting racks, consoles, and field equipment according to drawings for FAT.
5. Manufacturing steel brackets for secure equipment fixing.
6. Raising health and safety issues during Toolbox talks.

What you'll need

• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Proven experience as an Installation Technician working with technical drawings.
• Right to work in the UK.
