About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Installation Supervisor to take charge of pump and pipework installations at client sites. As the senior member of a two-person team, you'll lead and work side-by-side with our Installation Operative to ensure every project is delivered safely and to the highest quality. You will need to ensure RAMS are briefed and adhered to by your team and check that the equipment is fit for purpose before installation. Health & Safety is our top priority and must be adhered to at all times.

You will work on construction sites with potential risks in and around your work area. You need to manage your own safety and be aware of others' safety. You should have the confidence to stop any unsafe acts during activities if it is not safe to continue. Flexibility is essential, as you will be involved in a call-out rota and may need to work overtime outside your normal hours, offering the opportunity to earn increased overtime rates.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Promote and exercise the company’s mission statement and core values across the UK network.
  2. Supervise all aspects of solution/sales projects from conception to completion in conjunction with the solutions/sales team.
  3. Liaise with the Installation Manager, providing updates on progress and potential issues.
  4. Carry out on-site RAMS processes, ensuring risks are identified and control measures implemented, with clear communication to all stakeholders.
  5. Install pipework and supervise daily workloads of Installation Operatives and subcontractors.
  6. Assist drivers with loading and unloading vehicles.

This role is physically demanding and requires good fitness levels to perform daily tasks and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • Confidence working at height, in confined spaces, and around sewage/wastewater.
  • Experience working on client sites, including construction and water sectors.
  • Hands-on approach to ensure timely, quality completion of tasks.
  • Flexibility with working hours and availability for an 'on call' 1 in 4 rota, including occasional travel.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Site Supervision.
  • SSSTS - Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme.
  • Full UK driving license (no more than 6 points).

Preferred:

  • IOSH Managing Safety.
  • Forklift license.
  • CSCS card holder.
  • Water Hygiene Card.
