Job Specification
• Manage Installation Teams and Subcontract Install Teams, ensuring they follow Polars values. This includes all Hiring and firing, appraisals, return to work interviews, Training and toolbox talks.
• Work alongside Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Ensure all projects are installed to product manuals, recommendations and to the highest quality.
• Ensure projects are adequately resourced in-line with project manager’s requirements.
• Ensure all company QITP sheets are filled in by Installation teams to the correct standards.
• Ensure all company forms are filled in by Installation teams (e.g. Holiday, Timesheets).
• Check and sign off all installation timesheets and subcontractor invoices alongside project managers.
• Work closely with the client and Polar management to ensure all sites issues and snagging are resolved efficiently before the contract end date. Ensuring smooth handover of completed works to client.
• Reviewing NCRs and NPS results for installation to allow for future development and long-term corrective actions.
• Installation vans, tools and PPE upkeep and tracking.
• Ensuring Installation teams are adhering to project specific RAMS and all
paperwork and certificates are up to date.
