Job description

We are expanding our Installations Team to meet the growing demands of our business. We are seeking an Installation Supervisor to oversee and support our installation team and customers. This role is ideal for an experienced supervisor in the construction industry seeking career progression within a reputable company.

About the Role

Based at our Great Yarmouth branch, the role involves primarily working on customer sites across the UK, with occasional visits to the branch and other locations.

The Installation Supervisor will lead by example, overseeing all on-site workers, including third-party contractors. Key qualities include a positive attitude, flexibility, and integrity.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety procedures (RAMS) are followed, checking equipment quality, and maintaining health and safety standards on construction sites. You must manage your safety and be vigilant of others, with the authority to halt unsafe activities.

The role requires flexibility for a call-out rota and overtime work outside standard hours, offering increased overtime rates. It is subject to a safety-critical medical examination.

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Promote the company's mission and values across the UK network.
2. Supervise all aspects of solution/sales projects from start to finish.
3. Coordinate with the Installation Manager on project progress and issues.
4. Conduct on-site RAMS processes, identifying risks and implementing control measures.
5. Oversee installation work, supervising operatives and subcontractors.
6. Assist with vehicle loading/unloading; physical fitness is required.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential: Ability to work safely on construction sites, adaptable, flexible working hours, availability for on-call duties, and a valid UK driving license with less than 6 points.

Preferred: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, SSSTS, IOSH Managing Safety, forklift license, CSCS gold card, Water Hygiene Card, and industry experience (not essential).
