About The Role

We’re looking for a dedicated and motivated Installation Operative to join our Installations Team at our Leeds branch. This role involves working both at our branch yard and on-site for pump installations as needed.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Promote and exercise the company’s mission statement and core values to deliver a uniformed approach to installations across the UK.
  • Carry out installations and deinstallations of pumps, pipework, and associated equipment as directed by the Installation Supervisor.
  • Assist drivers with loading and unloading vehicles, checking paperwork, missing items, damages, and fuel charges.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area on-site.
  • Prioritise safety at all times, demonstrating confidence, knowledge, and experience to stop installations if safety issues arise, and inform your supervisor.

This role is subject to a safety-critical medical.

Qualifications & Personal Attributes:
  • Must be physically able due to role requirements.
  • Ability to work on construction sites and adapt to challenging situations.
  • Work effectively with team members, ensuring clear communication and mutual support for timely project completion.
  • Flexible working hours and availability to be ‘on call’.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.
  • Health & Safety focused, adhering strictly to guidelines.
  • Full driving licence (no more than 6 points).
Preferred (but not essential):
  • Construction Skills CSCS card holder.
  • National Water Hygiene Card.
  • Confined space training.
  • Forklift truck operator certification.
  • Understanding of temporary/permanent pumping solutions.

This role requires willingness and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, lone working, and with sewage.
