Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing all Service Sales activities within the region, including repairs targets, warranty contracts, retention, and new business development. The role involves liaising with clients, consultants, and service-related specifiers to build relationships and define their requirements. The manager will oversee the Service Sales Team, including but not limited to the Business Development Manager, Repairs Estimator, and Admin support. Close coordination with the Service Manager (Ops) on administrative resources, troublesome lifts, and key client meetings is essential.

Maintenance Contracts:

Oversee warranty and new contract sales in line with annual targets, monitoring and managing the BDM, and providing support as needed. Ensure Sales Logix is maintained to a high standard, providing live reports as required.

Coordinate repair offers and follow-ups by the sales team. Generate enquiries and offers through reports, identifying troublesome lifts, H&S items, regulation compliance, engineers, and insurance reports to meet targets. Conduct site surveys as necessary, prepare accurate sales offers, and liaise with the Service Manager (Ops) on issues such as troublesome lifts and special assistance requirements. Ensure supplier quotes are obtained and orders are accurate for smooth handover to operations.

Maintain up-to-date information on all live offers, ensuring the sales team follows a consistent process for easy information retrieval. Capture relevant data on BINSA, SLX, and E-files. Provide accurate monthly sales figures and forecasts for departmental reporting.

Product & Client Development:

Develop knowledge of the Orona regional portfolio and ensure the sales team recommends appropriate contracts and products to meet customer needs. Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients to ensure long-term sales sustainability.

Resource Management:

Identify team training and support requirements. Assess team strengths and weaknesses with a long-term view to maintaining a professional, qualified sales team. Hold regular meetings with the Service Manager (Ops) and liaise with field techs and engineers to drive sales. Offer advice to engineers to maximize sales potential.

Sales Management Ability:

Oversee the sales department, generate enquiries, and close orders to ensure departmental growth, utilizing industry knowledge and effective sales techniques.

Product Knowledge:

Gain comprehensive knowledge of the Orona regional lift portfolio and competitor contracts. Understand pricing and margin expectations.

Organising:

Coordinate multiple activities, organize information and files systematically, and anticipate the impact of related activities.

Customer Focus:

Build effective relationships with internal and external customers, earning trust and exceeding expectations.

Team Working:

Maintain team spirit and morale, and be sensitive to others.

Presentation Skills:

Communicate effectively in formal presentation settings, adjusting delivery to suit the audience.
