The Mission:

As our dedicated Installation Manager, you will be the linchpin in deploying our state-of-the-art Formula 1 simulators to prestigious venues across the globe. This isn't a desk job - it's a dynamic role demanding precision, foresight, and adaptability. You'll be the face of AXSIM for our key client, ensuring every installation is seamless, safe, and spectacular.

Your Challenge & Impact:

• Global Logistics Maestro: Take ownership of the detailed planning and management of global shipping logistics from the factory to the venue, including navigating complex customs and import processes around the world. Meticulously coordinate with our logistics providers to manage offloading, craning simulators into high-rise buildings, and overcoming unforeseen site access challenges like narrow corridors and staircases.
• On-Site Problem Solver: Anticipate and resolve complex venue-specific issues, from managing night shifts to ensuring compliance with diverse local regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Operational Excellence: Develop detailed installation plans, accurately assess staffing needs for each project, and ensure all practicalities are handled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Training & Handover: Provide comprehensive on-site installation training to venue staff, empowering them to operate and maintain our simulators effectively.
• H&S Champion: Uphold the highest standards of health and safety throughout every phase of installation, ensuring a safe working environment for your team and all stakeholders.
• Client Relationship: Build a strong, trusted relationship with our main customer, ensuring their vision is realised with every successful deployment.

Who We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in complex technical installations, ideally with high-value equipment or in challenging environments.
• Exceptional project management and logistical coordination skills, with a track record of managing international deployments.
• A strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practices, particularly regarding lifting operations, working at height, and site safety.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and adapt plans on the fly, remaining calm and effective under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with clients, logistics partners, and installation teams.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively worldwide, typically for approximately 16 weeks per year, often working unsocial hours to meet project deadlines.
• Basic mechanical and technical understanding to effectively troubleshoot and manage on-site practicalities.
• A passion for technology, engineering, or high-performance environments would be a significant advantage.
