Qualifications

  • Qualified electrician with NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition.
  • Experience in 3-phase domestic and commercial electrical work.
  • Understanding of compliance and governance in the industry.

We are now looking for an energetic Installation Manager to join our in field team and help us to deliver reliable and high performing EV charging infrastructure across our fast growing UK network.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Working directly for the Head of Tactical Field Operations, you will work on site to rectify any issues in need of attendance as identified through job ticketing as well as within any ongoing technical programmes
  • Oversee contractors and other installation managers to support programme delivery
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
  • On site commissioning and remote support to manage comms with CKs operating systems
  • Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
  • Provide professional assessments and advice for customers and provide 2nd line support if required
  • Fault finding and diagnosis and reporting
  • Provide support on research and development testing activities
  • Complete full and detailed site surveys
  • Leading by example and maintaining a Health and Safety culture on site and within the business, ensuring all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformances are fully reported

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified electrician, with experience in domestic and commercial 3 phase work
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification,
  • 18th Edition
  • A professional approach to all aspects of work
  • Full clean valid driving licence with zero penalty points and endorsements within the last 4 years. (DVLA code and check required for the role)
  • An understanding of industry governance and compliance
  • EV Car charging experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Comfortable with basic software set ups of our chargers and use of IT equipment – training will be given if required.
  • Experience with data cabling

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • ECS/CSCS Card and SMSTS qualified preferred
