We are currently seeking anInstallation Engineerto join our projects team.

A job that matters: Your Tasks

We are looking for aSkilled Automatic Door Engineerwho will take responsibility for the Installation, test, and commissioning dormakaba auto door products for various projects as required. This can include high profile, blue chip, construction and refurbishment projects in the commercial, retail and hospitality sectors.Working as part of the projects team, your admin skills must be as good as your technical skills, recording and compiling reports data and other information to ensure that the installation is successfully completed, and all issues are overcome.Lastly you need to be an ambassador for our business, representing the highest professional standards when working with both external client and internal stakeholders.

Much of the work is Monday to Friday with very little night or weekend work, but overtime may be required during the week. Overnight stays may be required dependant on the location of the work.NB this is a 40 Hour contract

This is a seldom available opportunity to work with a successful and effective project team and have your chance to be a key part to delivering dormakaba’s business plan and growth in the UK.

An experience that matters: Your Skills

• Previous experience as an automatic door engineer along with having experience of installing and commissioning automatic door systems is essential.
• Current holder of EN16005
• The ability to read and follow construction drawings and plans.
• Computer literate with the ability to use MS office products.
• A professional and confident attitude when dealing with internal and external clients.
• A team player who can demonstrate the ability to collaborate with others
