About the role:

Join Simon Hegele's specialist team as an Installation Technician, working on the forefront of medical imaging technology installations across the UK and Ireland. This role combines expertise in mechanical or electrical systems with professional driving skills, offering a unique opportunity for career development with a respected global company.

You will install advanced MRI, CT, X-ray, and other medical imaging equipment at hospitals, clinics, and research facilities nationwide, with occasional opportunities in Northern Europe. Full training and support will be provided, leading to certification in medical equipment installations.

Please note: A C+E License (Class 1 HGV Licence) is essential; only candidates with this license will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely transport and assist in the installation of complex medical imaging equipment.
2. Collaborate with project managers, technical support, and clinical staff for seamless installations.
3. Demonstrate mechanical and electrical assembly skills during installations.
4. Maintain effective communication with team members and clients.
5. Follow Health and Safety standards, ensuring safe working practices.
6. Work flexible hours, including nights away from home, with paid rest periods.

About You:

Essential Requirements:

• Valid C+E licence.
• Background or strong interest in mechanical/electrical engineering or related fields.
• Willingness to learn and undertake structured training.
• Understanding of Health and Safety standards.
• Flexibility for travel and overnight stays (average 3-5 days per project).
