Job description

Installation Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / HVAC Engineer required to join a leading engineering manufacturer. This role is field-based, working on customer sites across the East Midlands, responsible for onsite installations of products related to Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) and HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, dust, fumes, fans, and similar products. Full product training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will have engineering experience in mechanical installations, preferably in dust filtration, air filtration, duct work, fans, fumes, pumps, LEV units, isolation valves, vacuum systems, extraction arms, or related products in HVAC or filtration systems.

Role Responsibilities:

• Field-based work on customer sites across the East Midlands, responsible for onsite installations of products related to LEV and HVAC systems.
• Installing mechanical components at industrial, construction, and engineering sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensuring HVAC installations meet high standards and safety requirements.
• Liaising with various engineering departments.
• Occasional UK-wide site work.

Requirements:

• Experience as an Installation Engineer, Fitter, LEV Engineer, Lead Fitter, HVAC Engineer, or similar, with exposure to HVAC, LEV, or related fields.
• Experience in mechanical installations, including dust filtration, air filtration, duct work, fans, pumps, LEV units, isolation valves, vacuum systems, extraction arms, or similar products.
• Strong customer-facing skills and effective communication abilities.
• Mechanical engineering degree or relevant certifications such as IPAF, LEV/Dust extraction certificates, or equivalent industry experience.
• Flexibility to cover the East Midlands and UK-wide as needed, including staying away when required.
