Job summary

The Vale Primary School in Epsom is inviting a dynamic Year 2 Class Teacher to join us on a temporary basis for maternity cover from January 2027. You will inspire young learners and work as part of a supportive team in a one-form entry primary setting.

We are looking for an energetic, creative and collaborative teacher who can build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues, and contribute to high standards of teaching and learning across the early key stage.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with current QTS and ability to teach Year 2.
• Experience delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons across KS1.
• Strong relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
• Ability to manage class routines and behaviour effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for Year 2.
• Assess and track pupil progress, providing timely feedback.
• Contribute to a collaborative team and school priorities.
