About the Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting young learners during their crucial early years. Working alongside class teachers, you'll help create a positive, engaging classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a range of primary settings, with the flexibility to work full-time or part-time around your lifestyle.

Responsibilities
  • Support teachers with classroom activities and daily routines
  • Help pupils stay focused and engaged during lessons
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support where needed
  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and respectful learning space
  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure pupil safety at all times
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience working with children or young people (in a classroom, care, youth work, tutoring, sports coaching, etc.)
  • A positive, patient, and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness for us to process one)
  • Legal right to work in the UK and currently living in the UK
