Job summary

Aureus School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the Inclusion Team, supporting learning and the social and emotional development of students. You will work within a collaborative, professional team to reinforce an innovative, broad curriculum.

The post is 32.75 hours per week, term time only, with shifts 8.15am–3.15pm, 3.30pm finish on Thursdays for meetings. Salary is GLF Associate 2.1 £24,751 FTE (Actual £19,370); closing date 22 October 2026, 9.30am; start date November 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students’ learning and development.
• Ability to contribute to social and emotional development of pupils.
• Capacity to work within a collaborative inclusion team.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development of students as part of the Inclusion Team.
• Promote inclusion and assist delivery of an innovative curriculum.
• Assist with planning for individual student needs as appropriate.
