Job summary

Rivertree Free School, part of Bedford Inclusive Learning and Training Trust (BILTT), is seeking a Class Teacher to join our inclusive provision for pupils with autism, profound and multiple learning difficulties, and complex medical needs.

You will deliver high-quality teaching and learning, design personalised lessons, and work with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support EHCPs and pupil development in a nurturing, child-centred environment.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential and experience with pupils with SEND is required.
• Commitment to child-centred learning and inclusive practices.
• Ability to design personalised, engaging lessons for diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to pupils with SEND.
• Design and deliver personalised, engaging lessons to support individual needs.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and other professionals.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom where pupils can access the curriculum and develop skills.
• Plan and teach lessons aligned with EHCPs and pupil progress.
