Tradewind Recruitment are partnering with a highly regarded junior school in North Bristol to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The role is based within a mainstream classroom, supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, cognition and learning difficulties, and SEMH.

• Experience working with children in schools or similar settings.
• Passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
• Patient, nurturing and able to build strong relationships.

• Committed to helping children progress.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual learning styles and abilities.
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive social interactions.
• Support pupils with emotional regulation and classroom routines.
• Work with teachers, the SENDCo and wider support staff to deliver personalised support plans.
• Help create a positive, inclusive classroom where every child feels valued.
