Job summary

REESON Education is seeking an experienced Primary or SEN Teacher to join an outstanding special needs school in Harrow. You will teach students with moderate to severe learning difficulties and autism, working alongside a large on-site therapy team.

The role begins on a timesheet basis during probation with a view to a permanent contract upon satisfactory performance. An induction programme, pension and wellbeing benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experienced SEN Teacher or qualified primary teacher with QTS.
• Experience with ASD/SLD in mainstream or special school.
• Willingness to contribute to school expansion and aim for permanent contract.
• Basic PECS, Makaton, TEACCH and Team Teach skills; training provided.
• Harrow or similar location preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons for primary/SEN classes.
• Support pupils with complex needs and enable progress across core subjects.
• Collaborate with SLT and therapy teams to implement holistic plans.
