A thriving primary school in Hounslowis looking for a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis starting in April. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a mainstream primary school with a dedicated SEN provision, supporting students with a range of special educational needs and ensuring that they receive the highest standard of education in an inclusive and supportive environment.

The Role:
  • Delivering high-quality SEN teaching to students with a range of learning and developmental needs within a mainstream primary school setting.
  • Supporting students in the SEN provision, delivering tailored lessons and interventions to help them reach their full potential.
  • Working closely with the SENCO and other staff members to ensure individual education plans (IEPs) are implemented effectively and students' needs are met.
  • Differentiating lessons and learning activities to ensure that all students, regardless of their needs, have access to the curriculum and are supported in their learning.
  • Collaborating with class teachers to support the integration of SEN students into the wider classroom setting and create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing feedback to parents and the senior leadership team, and adjusting strategies where needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Proven experience working with SEN students, particularly in a specialist or inclusive classroom environment.
  • Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions, with the ability to implement them effectively to support student learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Passionate about inclusive education and committed to providing the best possible learning experience for all students.
