Job summary

The Southfield Trust is seeking an excellent, self-motivated class teacher for The Lindfield School on a fixed-term contract until 31st August 2027, with 32.5 paid hours (full-time). The role may involve working across the Trust’s sites to support our SEN learners and develop independent communication and self-regulation skills.

You will hold QTS or QTLS and contribute to a pupil-centred, collaborative approach with parents, carers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS or QTLS status.
• Innovative, creative and passionate about each learner.
• Able to contribute to developing independence, communication and self-regulation.
• Commitment to working with parents/carers and professionals for the best outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Teach as a full-time class teacher on a fixed-term contract until 31 Aug 2027.
• Based at The Lindfield School but may be required to work on other Trust sites.
• Support SEN learners and promote independence, communication and self-regulation.
• Collaborate with school and Trust staff to support wider work.
