Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a full-time Science Teacher to join a welcoming specialist school in Clevedon on a temporary basis from September. The role focuses on planning and delivering engaging Science lessons tailored to students’ abilities and needs, with collaboration from teaching assistants to maintain a positive learning environment.

ECTs are welcome; the school emphasizes differentiated teaching, strong classroom management and a commitment to student development.

Qualifications

QTS with a Science specialism – ECTs welcome to apply.
Previous experience teaching Science within a UK school environment.
Ability to plan creative, engaging and differentiated lessons.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Patient, positive and adaptable approach to teaching.

Responsibilities
