Job summary

Academics Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join a successful secondary school from January 2027. You will deliver engaging, creative Science lessons across the secondary age range and contribute to curriculum development.

ECTs are welcome to apply alongside experienced teachers seeking a new challenge. Salary will be determined by qualifications and experience, in line with the Main Teachers pay scale.

• Holds QTS or is working towards QTS.
• Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science.
• Can deliver creative and innovative lessons.

• Is keen to contribute to curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across the secondary age range.
• Inspire students and develop their enthusiasm for Science.
• Contribute to an evolving and ambitious Science curriculum.
• Monitor and support student progress and attainment.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and wider enrichment opportunities.
• Support the school's high expectations for behaviour, achievement and progress.
