Job summary

West Coventry Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative, and committed Teacher of Science to join our successful Science Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a thriving school community dedicated to excellence.

You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable), foster scientific thinking, and support all learners to reach their full potential within a supportive department.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
• Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
• Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
• Be motivated, organised, and eager to contribute to wider school life.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).
• Inspire curiosity and develop scientific thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
