Job summary

Teaching Vacancies is seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Assistant Principal to join our academy. You will lead the direction and development of the academy in line with its ethos and vision, and contribute to resource management.

You will monitor pupil progress, support the academy improvement plan and provide professional leadership of Teaching and Learning across the academy, supporting staff to achieve priorities and targets.

• Aptitude for delivering and developing quality teaching.

Responsibilities

• Strategically lead the direction and development of the academy in line with its ethos and vision.
• Monitor, evaluate and review pupil progress outcomes.
• Support the creation and implementation of the academy improvement plan and take responsibility for delegated aspects.
• Provide professional leadership and management of Teaching and Learning across the academy and support staff in achieving priorities and targets.
