Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking Primary Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in S42 and surrounding areas. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, create a positive classroom environment and support pupils' academic and personal development.

Opportunities may span EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with flexible full-time or part-time roles. The role offers competitive pay based on experience, dedicated consultant support, and potential for long-term/permanent positions.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching experience.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to different school environments.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs and abilities of all pupils.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain high expectations.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Work effectively with Teaching Assistants and other school staff.
• Adapt teaching to support pupils with SEND and additional needs.
• Maintain records of pupil progress and assessment.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
