Job summary

Smart Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Primary Teacher for a role based in Aston, near Birmingham. You’ll teach across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, delivering engaging lessons within a supportive school environment and flexible working options.

The position offers contract flexibility, competitive daily rate (£140-£253), and September 2026 start. QTS required, DBS Update Service, and references. PAYE or Umbrella options available to suit your needs, with opportunity for long-term or day-to-day supply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Minimum 6 months' UK teaching experience
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
• Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to have one processed
• Ability to provide references covering the previous 24 months
