Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Teaching Assistants (TAs) and SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to work in primary schools across Blackpool and surrounding areas. Roles include one-to-one support, group support, and assisting teachers with engaging lessons.

Opportunities for full-time, part-time, long-term and flexible work are available, with weekly PAYE and ongoing local consultant support. Ideal candidates have experience with children or vulnerable groups, a patient and positive attitude,

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or vulnerable groups.
• SEN experience desirable but not essential.
• Patience, caring and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils one-to-one and in small groups.
• Assist class teacher to deliver engaging lessons.
• Help pupils achieve academic, social and emotional goals.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including autism and SEMH.
• Promote positive behaviour and inclusive learning environment.
