Job summary

Just Teachers Ltd is recruiting for a dedicated Primary PMLD Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Rugby from September 2026. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality, individualised education for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.

You will create and implement learning plans, adapt lessons for complex needs, assess progress, and work closely with support staff and professionals to promote safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working with pupils with SEND, PMLD, SLD or complex needs.
• Knowledge of sensory learning and communication strategies.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver creative and engaging lessons adapted to meet complex learning needs.
• Support pupils’ communication, sensory, physical and emotional development.
• Develop individual learning plans aligned with EHCP outcomes.
• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
• Work closely with support staff and specialist professionals.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence wherever possible
