Job summary

SEND Inclusion Support is seeking an enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 within a SEND setting. You will promote physical, social and emotional wellbeing and create an inclusive learning environment where every pupil can succeed.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, GCSEs in English and Maths at 9-4, and at least two years' PE teaching experience, with a track record in KS3/KS4 and SEND contexts.

Qualifications

• Teaching PE with focus on KS3/KS4.
• Experience using AfL and ongoing assessment.
• Understanding SEND Code of Practice and safeguarding.
• Experience with ASC, EBD, SEND settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3/KS4.
• Differentiate to meet a wide range of abilities and needs.
• Deliver the PE National Curriculum and support relevant qualifications.
• Use assessment and AfL to monitor progress and accelerate achievement.
• Develop positive relationships with pupils, families and professionals.
• Contribute to behaviour improvement and standards through high-quality teaching.
• Support wider curriculum and pastoral responsibilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clinical teams where appropriate.
• Follow safeguarding policies and training to ensure pupil safety.
