Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Female PE/Sport Teacher for a full-time role in Cardiff. You will deliver engaging PE lessons from KS3 to KS4, fostering participation, fitness, and teamwork. The position runs Monday to Friday with a minimum daily pay of £173, in a welcoming secondary school environment.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, have experience teaching PE in a secondary setting, and promote safeguarding and student wellbeing. An Enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching PE or Sport in a secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge across KS3/KS4.
• Positive, enthusiastic and adaptable teaching approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of varying abilities.
• Planning inclusive lessons that encourage participation and develop practical skills.
• Helping students develop confidence, teamwork, resilience and a positive attitude toward PE.
• Creating a positive learning environment where students feel motivated, included and encouraged to achieve their potential.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and improve student outcomes.
