Busy Bees is seeking a Room Leader at our Wakefield nursery to oversee multiple rooms and lead a dedicated team in delivering the Bee Curious curriculum.

You will mentor staff, ensure high standards of care and learning, and build strong relationships with families while maintaining health and safety standards and documenting children's progress.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or higher in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting; supervisory experience advantageous.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring progress is communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
