Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Relevant industry experience in engineering.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across mechanical engineering programmes.
• Preparing learning materials, schemes of work and lesson plans.
• Assessing learner progress and providing timely, constructive feedback.
• Maintaining accurate records in line with awarding body requirements.
• Embedding current industry practice and standards into delivery.
• Ensuring safe working practices within engineering workshops and learning environments.
• Contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement.
