Job summary

Access Sport College is seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons and support learners to reach their full potential. The role requires flexibility to work across Liverpool, Southport and Tranmere sites, with a focus on inclusion and safeguarding.

You will plan lessons, monitor progress, and collaborate with staff to integrate Maths and English across the study programme, contributing to enrichment activities and recruitment efforts.

• Passionate about Maths and teaching young people.
• Inspiring, supportive and able to motivate learners.
• Organised with excellent communication skills.
• Committed to high standards of teaching and learner achievement.
• Flexible and able to work across multiple sites (Liverpool, Southport, Tranmere).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive Maths lessons.
• Set high expectations for learner achievement and behaviour.
• Assess and monitor learner progress effectively.
• Support students with SEND and those at risk of disengagement.
• Work closely with colleagues to embed Maths and English across the wider study programme.
• Contribute to meetings, enrichment activities, parent engagement and recruitment events.
• Maintain accurate learner records and follow quality assurance procedures.
• Promote equality, diversity and safeguarding throughout the curriculum.
