Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking an inspirational, driven Teacher of Mathematics to join our dedicated Maths department in Liverpool. Whether you are an Experienced Teacher or an ECT, this role offers a supportive environment to foster numeracy, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning across our student body.

You will deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, prepare GCSE-ready learners, and contribute to enrichment activities such as UKMT Challenges.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent and a Mathematics degree are essential.
• Proven track record delivering Maths at KS3/KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management.
• Clear Enhanced DBS registered on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Plan, resource, and deliver high-impact Mathematics lessons for KS3 and KS4.
• Prepare KS4 students effectively for GCSE examinations with targeted interventions.
• Implement mastery-based approaches to support students of all attainment levels.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and feedback.
• Contribute to department enrichment, including UKMT Maths Challenges and STEM initiatives.
