Job summary

Knole Academy in Sevenoaks is seeking a well-qualified Maths teacher to cover a maternity leave from January 2027. The post will teach across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities in our all-ability, mixed academy. The academy offers excellent facilities and a supportive environment.

We welcome applications from both early career teachers and experienced colleagues aiming to develop their practice. Joining our vibrant school community, you will inspire students and help them progress in maths.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status or is due to gain by January 2027.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for maths.
• Plans and teaches engaging lessons that challenge and support students of all abilities.
• Uses assessment to help students make progress.
• Works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 in our all-ability academy).
• Contribute to the development of a successful Maths department and school community.
