Plume Academy in Essex is seeking a dynamic Teacher of Mathematics for a full-time or part-time permanent position from September 2027. You will teach a full timetable within the Mathematics faculty, with a strong collaborative ethos and planned schemes of learning in place.

The post is open to ECTs and includes a robust induction, mentor support, and opportunities to develop professionally with a comprehensive academy-wide programme.

Competenze

• Degree in a relevant subject with QTS.
• ECTs welcome; induction programme.
• Ability to teach across KS3–KS4.
• Professional leadership to students in the subject area.

Mansioni

• Plan lessons in accordance with the schemes of learning for each course.
• Be aware of prior learning and SEND needs of students.
• Maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour.
