Marchant Recruitment is assisting a highly regarded secondary school in Nottingham to appoint a committed Maths Teacher. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 as appropriate, helping students build mathematical confidence and achieve strong results.

The successful candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, demonstrate enthusiasm for Maths, adapt to diverse learning needs and maintain high behaviour standards in a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Mathematics.
• Ability to adapt teaching to various learning needs.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons for students of varying abilities.
• Develop students' numerical fluency, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Assess learning regularly and provide clear feedback to support progress.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
• Prepare students for assessments and examinations.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and support departmental goals.
