Job summary

ARLO Education, in partnership with a secondary school, is looking for a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join their team. You will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, plan engaging lessons, assess learning and provide constructive feedback to help pupils progress.

You will foster an inclusive classroom, promote positive behaviour and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers. The ideal candidate holds QTS or a relevant teaching qualification, has strong subject

Has strong subject knowledge and a commitment to effective teaching and learning.
Builds positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
Has high expectations and can support pupils with a range of abilities and needs.
Is reliable, professional, organized and committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Teach Mathematics across Key stages 3 & 4.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support pupil progress and achievement.
Assess learning, provide constructive feedback and adapt teaching to meet pupils' needs.
Promote positive behaviour, inclusion and a safe, respectful learning environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers where appropriate.
Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school.
