Job summary

Outwood Academy Redcar is seeking a dynamic Teacher of Mathematics to join a forward-thinking maths department. You will help make maths accessible and inspiring, supporting students across Key Stage 3 and 4 within a supportive school community.

The role welcomes both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). Applicants must hold UK QTS and will benefit from strong professional development through the Outwood Institute of Education and wide collaboration within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Degree in an appropriate discipline and QTS.
• Recent teaching experience in Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Ability to teach maths to a range of abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.

Responsibilities

• Teach mathematics using a range of methods and AfL approaches.
• Use student data to identify areas for development and raise attainment.
• Communicate with students and their parents, both orally and in writing.
• Collaborate with colleagues and share best practice across the department.
