Job summary

Explore Learning is seeking a Maths and English Tutor for our Ashton centre. You will deliver tailored sessions through Compass, helping learners progress at their own pace and stay engaged.

You will work on-site, 6 hours per week across at least two weekdays, supporting students aged 4-16 with 11+ and GCSE content while building lasting relationships and keeping safety at the heart of every session.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 or over and eligible to work in the UK.
• GCSE grade 6 or above in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Contract to work minimum 6 hours per week across at least 2 weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored sessions using Compass to facilitate learning.
• Build meaningful relationships with learners in a 16-student setting.
• Support progression through the national curriculum, entrance exams and GCSE prep.
