Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognized UK teaching credentials (PGCE / SCITT).
• Honours degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, or a quantitative discipline.
• Proven track record delivering GCSE/A-Level Mathematics outcomes or strong training potential.
• Deep subject knowledge with ability to stretch ambitious pupils.
• Enhanced DBS Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging and rigorous Mathematics across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• Plan lessons to build numerical fluency and mathematical modelling.
• Guide GCSE and A-Level pupils through assessment, feedback and exam prep.
• Utilise digital learning platforms and software to aid understanding.
• Assess, track and report pupil progress across mocks and classwork.
• Fulfill pastoral duties as a Form Tutor to support wellbeing.
