Our vibrant primary school in Haringey is seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team. If you are passionate about supporting young learners and helping them reach their full potential, this could be the perfect role for you.

Role Overview: As an LSA, you will support students across the school, especially those with additional learning needs. Working under the guidance of class teachers, you will help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all students thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons to students of various abilities, including those with special educational needs.
  2. Provide one-to-one and small group support to build students’ confidence and engagement.
  3. Foster a nurturing and positive classroom atmosphere.
  4. Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
  5. Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and work with teachers to adapt strategies.
  6. Supervise students during playtime, lunchtime, and other activities, ensuring safety and support.
