Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking a dedicated PE Teacher (KS4/KS5) for Longdon Park School. You will deliver differentiated PE lessons to students aged 14–18 with autism and complex needs, planning personalised learning and promoting healthy lifestyles. A patient, resilient approach and a valid driving licence are essential for this role.

The role involves collaboration with support staff, families and multidisciplinary teams to foster confidence, motor skills and lifelong participation in sport.

Qualifications

• Qualified PE teacher with KS4/KS5 experience and QTS.
• Experience teaching students with SEND/autism/complex needs.
• Strong behaviour management and inclusive teaching approaches.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Teach Physical Education across KS4 and KS5.
• Monitor, assess and report on student progress and achievement.
• Develop and review individual education and behaviour plans.
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
• Promote participation, teamwork, fitness and wellbeing through a varied PE curriculum.
• Work closely with Learning Support Assistants and wider school staff.
• Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
