Rotherwood Education are recruiting a dedicated Female PE Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Colne area. This full-time maternity cover position starts in November 2026, offering an excellent opportunity to inspire pupils and promote an active, healthy lifestyle.

Deliver engaging PE for KS3 and KS4 with practical lessons, plan and assess progress, and support pupils to develop sporting skills, confidence and teamwork.

Formación

• QTS or PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching PE at secondary level.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and prepare lessons for varied abilities.
• Teach multiple sports and activities.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy living.
• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain high behaviour standards and safety.
• Collaborate with PE department on school activities.
