Job summary

Clifton College is seeking an inspiring Golf Coach to deliver high-quality one-to-one coaching for pupils aged 4-18, helping golfers of all abilities develop technical, tactical, physical and mental skills. You will work closely with the Golf Professional and the wider Sports Department to support individual development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong playing background and experience coaching golf in a facility or high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Strong playing background and coaching/teaching golf.
• Experience coaching or teaching golf within a golf facility or high-performance environment.
• PGA coaching qualification would be advantageous.
• Enthusiastic about working with young people.
• Able to contribute positively to a thriving sports programme.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured, engaging one-to-one coaching sessions for pupils aged 4-18.
• Support development of golfers of all ages and abilities.
• Provide regular feedback to pupils, parents and guardians on progress.
• Analyse performance and implement development plans to support improvement.
• Develop the all-round golfer, both mentally and physically.
• Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Liaise with the Golf Professional and Sports Department to support the golf programme.
• Demonstrate progression and measurable improvement for each player.
• Deliver coaching sessions to members of the public as part of the College's golf offering.
• Promote safeguarding, health and safety and professional conduct.
