Job summary

The post is based in Barrow-in-Furness, within a seven-school trust serving the Furness community. You will teach IT/CS to GCSE level and join a collaborative department committed to high standards of teaching, learning and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent subject knowledge and ability to engage students.
• Ability to teach GCSE IT/CS is essential; GCSE experience desirable.
• We welcome Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality ICT/CS teaching and learning.
• Contribute to departmental improvement and IT provision.
• Collaborate with other schools in the Furness Education Trust.
• Plan, assess and monitor student progress.
