Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting an enthusiastic IT Teacher to work within a secondary school in the Wellingborough area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Teacher, Computing Teacher or Early Career Teacher who is passionate about technology and inspiring the next generation of digital learners.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging, creative and accessible IT lessons across KS3 and KS4, developing programming skills including Python and preparing

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching IT, Computing or Computer Science in a secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for technology and education.
• Ability to deliver across KS3 and KS4.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver IT, Computing and Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach digital literacy, computer systems, programming and information technology.
• Develop programming skills, including languages such as Python where appropriate.
• Prepare students for GCSE Computer Science or relevant IT qualifications.
• Differentiate lessons to support varying abilities and needs.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and share best practice.
• Promote safe, responsible and effective use of digital technology.
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures.
