Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking an ICT Teacher for a specialist SEMH school in Darlington. The role is long-term, full-time, with an immediate start and a pay rate between £160 and £250 per day (paid to scale).

You will plan and deliver ICT lessons across KS1 to KS4, adapting to pupil needs and applying strong classroom management to support SEMH and challenging behaviour. QTS is required; ECTs welcomed.

Qualifications

• QTS required; ECTs welcome to apply.
• Experience teaching ICT across Primary and/or Secondary KS1–KS4.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, additional learning needs or challenging behaviour.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to implement positive behaviour strategies.
• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated ICT lessons to pupils with varying abilities.
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach with a genuine passion for supporting young people.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons across KS1 to KS4.
• Differentiate teaching to meet individual learning needs.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support SEMH pupils.
• Collaborate with school staff to track pupil progress.
