Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a committed History Teacher for a secondary school in Milton Keynes, with opportunities starting November 2026 or January 2027. You will plan and deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4, developing students' understanding of major events and sources.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in History and enthusiasm for the topic.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills in interpretation, source analysis and writing.

• Adapt teaching to diverse abilities and learning styles.
• Monitor progress, assess work and provide feedback.
• Create a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and plan curriculum.
