Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a Health & Social Care Tutor in Birmingham to deliver engaging lessons to Post-16 learners, including those with SEND. The role involves adapting teaching to individual needs, tracking progress and supporting EHCP outcomes in one-to-one or small-group settings.

The ideal candidate will have a Health & Social Care qualification and experience delivering vocational subjects, with a flexible, patient approach and commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching or Health & Social Care qualification.
• Experience delivering Health & Social Care or related vocational subjects.
• Experience working with Post-16 learners and/or learners with SEND.
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual needs and abilities.
• Flexible, patient and resilient approach with a strong safeguarding commitment.
• Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Health & Social Care lessons, adapting to learners' needs.
• Work with support staff and professionals to support EHCP outcomes.
• Monitor progress and promote positive learning outcomes.
• Deliver lessons one-to-one or in small groups depending on setting and learners.
