Job summary

NCG is seeking a Lecturer to teach Health and Social Care across Level 1–3, with flexibility to cover Early Years up to Level 3. The role supports Care and Access to HE within a dynamic curriculum area. A PGCE (or equivalent) and relevant degree are welcomed, with a commitment to high-quality, student-centered teaching.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team, using digital tools to enhance learning and uphold safeguarding and equality in daily practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified to teach with a recognised teaching qualification.
• Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent).
• Ability to plan and deliver inclusive teaching for diverse learners.
• Knowledge of pedagogy for FE/HE.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Comfort using digital tools to support learning.
• Commitment to safeguarding and equality, with ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inclusive, high-quality lessons.
• Develop learning materials for diverse learners.
• Provide constructive feedback on learner progress.
• Support academic and pastoral development through tutorials.
• Maintain accurate learner records.
